Diana Ross 'Confirmed As Michael Jackson Children's Guardian'

Diana Ross has been confirmed as the guardian to Michael Jackson's children when their grandmother Katherine Jackson dies, according to reports.

Katherine was named as guardian to Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket after the star's death in June 2009.

At the time, it was reported that Ross would take care of the children when their grandmother died, but these were never confirmed.

However, a source close to Jackson's family told Radaronline said Ross is named as their second guardian in the late singer's will.

"Diana has made no moves whatsoever not fulfill her role that Michael intended for her," the source said.

"Michael didn't trust anyone in his family besides, his mother, to raise the children. Michael loved Diana and chose her for a very specific reason."

The singer has not been involved in the children's lives so far, but the source added: "She will step in if there's an immediate need to do so."
