Graham Coxon Keen To Record New Blur AlbumApril 22, 2009
Blur guitarist Graham Coxon has said he is keen for the band to record a new album together.
The group have reunited in their original line up for a series of concerts this summer. But there has been doubt over whether the reformation will lead to new material, and a possible new album. Speaking to the Daily Star, Coxon said: “I’d be up for it if everyone else is really into the idea. “If it feels good then we will (record again). I’m sure we will. But we’ve all got some stuff going on so it won’t be in the immediate future.” Blur’s last studio album, ‘Think Tank’, was released in 2003. As previously reported, the band have added three new intimate shows to their summer reunion dates.
