Noel Gallagher 'Mocks Annie Lennox At Ivor Novello Awards'Noel Gallagher mocked Annie Lennox at the Ivor Novello awards yesterday (May 20), it’s been reported.

The former Oasis guitarist is understood to have ridiculed the Eurythmics singer’s dedication to International Achievement winner Imogen Heap.

Lennox used her introduction to discuss the difficulty women faced in the male-dominated music industry.

According to The Sun, Gallagher later said in response: "I am a man. A man in rock.

“People ask what it's like to be a man in rock and I say, 'It's aaaalllright'."

The guitarist attended the ceremony in London to present friend Paul Weller with the Lifetime Achievement award.
