Annie Lennox (born 25 December 1954) is a Scottish recording artist, also known as being one member of the duo Eurythmics, which she formed in 1980. Lennox penned some of the band's best-known tracks, including "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", "Here Comes The Rain Again", "Sexcrime (Nineteen Eighty-Four)", "There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)" and "Love Is a Stranger".
