Snoop Dogg Takes In Troubled YouthApril 18, 2011
Snoop Dogg has revealed that he has been helping out troubled teenagers.
The rapper has taken a teenager under his wing and invited him to stay in his LA mansion. The gesture is part of Snoop's extended work with youth football programmes, where he encourages teenagers to get into sport rather than crime. "A lot of kids that I work with, I take under my wing. There's one living with us now that was an at-risk kid. He's becoming more productive. As opposed to being a great athlete, we're making him a great person," Dogg told Vibe magazine. He added: "Around the whole world, I'm looked at as a good guy. Not as a villain or a drug dealer or the gangbanger I came in as." Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg will play a one-off gig in London next month, it's been announced. (by Holly Frith) See also: Snoop Dogg Announces May London Gig (11.04.2011)
