Corey Taylor Casts More Doubt Over Slipknot FutureJuly 29, 2010
Corey Taylor has admitted it is still “too soon” to know whether Slipknot will make another album.
The band's future has been in doubt since the death of bassist and founding member Paul Gray in May. In an interview with Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, Taylor said: “It's too soon right now. But we're still talking, all of us are still talking, everything's good – we'll see.” In June, guitarist Jim Root was similarly uncertain about Slipknot's future. “There’s going to be a big healing process that needs to happen before we even think about whether or not Slipknot will continue,” he said. Gray was found dead in a hotel room in Des Moines last month. Toxicology tests showed he died of an accidental overdose. (Gigwise) See also: Corey Taylor Rules Out New Slipknot Album (07.03.2011)
