Rebecca Black Working On Follow-Up To 'Friday'

Rebecca Black has revealed that she is working on the follow-up to her worldwide hit 'Friday'.

The 13-year-old, who had more than 120 million YouTube hits with her track Friday, is currently recording a five track mini-album.

"I don't want to be known as the `Friday' girl," the teenager, from Anaheim, California said. "Hopefully, I can be known as Rebecca Black and not the 'Friday' girl. I want to be a performing artist. That's what I've always wanted to do," Black told AP.

She added: "I want to see everyone's opinion of my actual voice. I don't care if they love it. I don't care if they hate it."Well, I'd like it if they loved it, but I just want to hear their opinion."

Earlier this month (April 12)  it was announced that Black's 'Friday' had earned more YouTube views than videos by Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile, Police have launched an investigation after two death threats were made against Rebecca Black.
