Paul McCartney To Release Two New Albums In June

April 27, 2011
Paul McCartney To Release Two New Albums In JuneSir Paul McCartney is set to release two more albums from the Paul McCartney Archive Collection this summer.

The albums are 'McCartney', originally released in April 1970, and 1980's 'McCartney II', which marked his return to solo work following Wings.

The former Beatles star personally supervised all aspects of these two reissues and remastering took place at Abbey Road.

Both albums will be released on a standard CD edition, while 'McCartney' will also be made available as a 2 CD Special Edition featuring the original remastered album plus seven bonus audio tracks.

'McCartney' and 'McCartney II' mark the second and third releases from the Paul McCartney Archive Collection.

The inaugural title, Paul McCartney & Wings' 1973 classic 'Band on the Run', was released in November 2010.
