Adele's '21' Set To Pass The Two Million Album Mark

April 19, 2011
Adele's '21' Set To Pass The Two Million Album MarkAdele's '21' is set to reach the two million sales mark toady (April 19).

The singer, who has had phenomenal success with her second album, will have broke through the two million sales barrier in just 87 days.

Adele will now join such musicians such as Lady Gaga, Kings Of Leon, Take That and Fleetwood Mac with the historical sales title.

"The public are clearly passionate about Adele and passionate about her music. They kept her at number one in the Official Albums Chart for almost three months and they're still buying her records.  It may only be Spring, but Adele is already guaranteed to be one of the artists of 2011," said Official Charts Company managing director Martin Talbot.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters have ended Adele's reign on top of the UK album chart.
