Coldplay Release Kylie Minogue Collaboration For World Aids DayDecember 1, 2008
Coldplay have released a special collaboration with Kylie Minogue for World Aids Day.
The song, entitled 'Lhuna', was recorded at the band's Bakery studios during the production of their latest album 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends'. Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin has previously described the song as being “too sexy” to put on the band’s album. “At this point we cannot be that sexy, also we haven't quite finished it,” Martin added. The track is one of a number of songs available as part of a new weekly music service which will benefit HIV-infected people in Africa. Each issue of RED(WIRE), which will cost $5, includes an exclusive song from a major artist, as well as a musician the charity hopes to promote. U2 and The Killers and Elton John have also recorded exclusive songs for the service. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Coldplay's New Album Nearly Complete (30.03.2011)
