Shaun Ryder has rescheduled five dates on his UK tour that were postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

The gigs, originally due to take place this week, have now been moved to March.

They are: Newcastle Academy (March 18), London's Shepherds Bush Empire (19), Glasgow ABC (24), Manchester Academy (25) and Leeds Academy (26).

Tickets for the original dates remain valid.

The Happy Mondays star, who is performing under the name Shaun William Ryder (SWR), booked the tour following his appearance on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

Tickets are on sale now.
