Kate Middleton has replaced Lady Gaga has the top fashion buzzword online, a new survey has found.

Middleton has been popular with style searchers since it was announced that she would marry long-term boyfriend Prince William in April.

Lady Gaga came second in the survey conducted by the Global Language Monitor organisation, which analyses fashion buzz words and phrases in print and online.

The singer has continued to turn heads over the last twelve years, sporting everything from a telephone hat to a raw meat dress.

The keywords, which also included “sheer” and “shirt dresses”, were chosen by industry experts.

Middleton and Prince William are due to tie the knot on April 29. There has been much speculation over which music stars will perform at the wedding.
