Elbow have added an extra date to their UK tour due to phenomenal demand.

The band were originally set to play nine dates in support of their as-yet-untitled new album. Due to popular demand, Elbow have added an extra date at London's O2 Arena on March 29 2011.

The second date at the O2 Arena is part of the band's 2011 UK and Ireland tour, marking a return after nearly two years in the studio.

Tickets went on sale on Monday (November 8).
