Lil Wayne Urges Fans To Stop Sending Prison Letters

October 7, 2010
Lil Wayne Urges Fans To Stop Sending Prison LettersLil Wayne has told his fans to stop sending him letters in prison because he hasn't got time to respond.

The rapper is currently serving a one-year jail term in New York for gun possession.

Wayne said earlier this month that he had received around “a million” letters during his prison stay, but he now wants fans to stop contacting him.

"I can no longer write my fans, as difficult as this maybe to say please stop sending me mail, I luv u and will see you soon,” the rapper said on Twitter.

Wayne, who has been placed in solitary confinement, is due to be released from prison in November.
