Lady Gaga Joins Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton On Power Woman ListOctober 7, 2010
Lady Gaga has been named among the top-10 most powerful women in the world.
The singer was placed number seven by Forbes magazine, who described her as the “new queen of pop”. The 24-year-old singer, who released her first album 'The Fame' in 2008, ranked at number one in the Lifestyle category. Beyonce was the only other musician inside the top-10 at number nine, while Madonna was at number 29. US president Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, topped the annual list, and was praised for making “the office of First Lady her own”. Irene Rosenfeld, chief executive of Kraft Foods, was second, while talk show host Oprah Winfrey came third in the countdown. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is on course to become the first artist to pass more than one billion views on YouTube. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Lady Gaga: 'Judas' Video To Debut Next Week (28.04.2011)
