Lady Gaga has scrapped her collaboration with T.I., which was due to appear on the rapper's forthcoming new album.

The rapper said the singer had decided that she wanted to improve on the unnamed track that they recorded earlier this year.

“[Gaga] brought it to my knowledge that she would like to top what we already have,” T.I. told Rap-Up.com.

“That being said, I don’t know if that’s going to be a keeper or if that’s going to be one-upped or what not.”

T.I. Added that he had “begged on hands and knees” in order to work with Lady Gaga.

The rapper is due to release his new album 'King Uncaged' later this year.
