The Wombats have announced details of a UK tour, which is set to get under way in Southampton on October 19.

The Liverpool band will also play gigs in Stoke (October 20), Leeds (21) and Nottingham (24).

The tour is due to conclude with a hometown show at the Static Gallery in Liverpool on October 29.

The Wombats are currently putting the finishing touches to their second album. Their new single ‘Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)’ is released on September 27.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday (August 18) at 9am.
