Paolo Nutini is set to headline next year’s RockNess festival in Scotland, organisers have announced. The singer will perform a “monumental landmark homecoming gig” on the main stage on Sunday (June 12). 
Tom Jones is set to appear at next year’s Isle Of Wight festival, it’s been announced. The veteran singer will top the bill on the Big Top on the second day of the event, which runs from June 10-12. 
Glasvegas have announced details of a special homecoming tour in Scotland next year. The band will play eight gigs in their home country, starting at Orkney’s Kirkwall Fusion on January 6.

Kylie Minogue has added a host of extra dates to her UK and Ireland arena tour next year. The Australian singer will now play additional dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London in March and April. 
Lil’ Kim has continued her ongoing feud with Nicki Minaj on a new song. ‘Black Friday’, which is a take on Minaj’s debut album title ‘Pink Friday’, sees Lil’ Kim label Minaj a “clone clown”. 
Nicki Minaj was joined by a host of special guests as she headlined Hot 97’s Thanksgiving Day concert in New York last night (November 25). The rapper, who released new album ‘Pink Friday’ earlier this week, thrilled fans at Hammerstein Ballroom. 
Blink-182 have extended their UK arena tour next year after tickets sold out for their initial dates this morning (November 26). The US band, who reformed last year, will now play three more dates, starting in Sheffield on July 7. 
Grinderman have been added to the line-up for All Tomorrow’s Parties (ATP) I’ll Be Your Mirror festival in London next year. The band will performed on the second day of the event, which runs from July 23-24 at Alexandra Palace. 
U2 and Jay-Z have both paid tribute to the 29 miners killed in an explosion at a New Zealand coal mine last week. The workers, including two Britons, were killed when a blast ripped through Pike River mine in Greymouth. There have since been two further explosions. 
Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason has revealed he turned down an opportunity to reunite with the band. In July, bandmates Roger Waters and David Gilmour reunited for just 200 guests at the Hoping For Palestine charity gala at Kiddington Hall.
