Juliette Lewis has been injured in a hit and run crash in Burbank, California. The singer and actress was in the back seat of a vehicle that was struck when the driver of another vehicle drove through a red light and into Lewis' car. 
Take That have given their new single 'The Flood' its world premiere. The track, debuted on BBC Radio 1 this morning (October 8), is the group's first song in fifteen years with Robbie Williams. 
A set of John Lennon's fingerprints have been seized by the FBI. The former Beatles' prints, taken at a New York police station in 1976, were due to go under the hammer at an auction house in New York. 
Band Of Horses and the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band have covered Cee Lo Green's 'Georgia'. The cover was inspired by the Gnarl Barkley star's recent reimagination of the fellow Atlanta band's song, 'No One's Gonna Love You'. 
Suede are set to play a one-off gig in London later this month, it's been announced. The band will play Bush Hall on October 27 in support of their forthcoming Best Of, due out on November 1. 
Kanye West has remixed La Roux's 'In For The Kill' and is set to appear in the song's video. La Roux star Elly Jackson said the rapper features on the second verse of the remix. 
Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah has been banned from driving for 14 months. The 26-year-old singer admitted driving with excess alcohol when she was arrested in the early hours of September 23. 
Duffy has been inspired by hip-hop on her forthcoming second album, 'Endlessly'. The Welsh singer worked with The Roots and Albert Hammond Snr on the effort, due out next month.

Kings Of Leon have admitted that their breakthrough single 'Sex On Fire' has cost them fans. Drummer Nathan Followill said that as well as expanding their fan base, the 2008 song had also alienated their early supporters. 
Sir Elton John has claimed that the title song from Lady Gaga's new album 'Born This Way' is “the new gay anthem”. The singer, who is close friends with the US star, said the song would replace 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor. 
Amy Winehouse has performed on stage in London for the second time in a week. The star made a surprise appearance alongside her father Mitch at the grand opening of City Burlesque last night (October 7). 
A letter written by late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain attacking MTV is set to go up for auction. The handwritten note is undated, but it is thought to have been written in 1993 – the same year Cobain gave an interview attacking the corporation. 
KISS star Gene Simmons has accused the music industry of not reacting fast enough to curb the problem of illegal file-sharing. The bassist said lawsuits should have been issued against illegal downloaders sooner and that the error had cost “hundreds of thousands of jobs” in the industry.
