Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones has paid tribute to the band’s former drummer Stuart Cable, who has died aged 40. Cable, one of the group’s original members, was found dead at his home in Aberdare, Wales on Monday morning (June 7). 
Former Take That bandmates Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow are set to release a new single together. ‘Shame’, the pair’s first new song since Williams quit the boy band in 1995, will be released on October 4. 
Isley Brothers bassist Marvin Isley has died at the age of 56. Isley, who was the band’s youngest member, passed away on Sunday (June 6) at a hospital near his Chicago home. 
Snow Patrol’s drummer Jonny Quinn has confirmed that the band plan to release a new album in 2011. Quinn told the Daily Record the follow-up to 2008’s ‘A Hundred Million Suns’ would arrive between next February and July.
