Dizzee Rascal is reportedly recording an England World Cup anthem with comedian James Corden. Simon Cowell is apparently the man behind the collaboration which will see the Bonkers rapper and the rotund Gavin & Stacy star record a version of an as yet undisclosed 80's classic. 
A web developer with immaculate taste in music has devised a programme which erases all trace of teen sensation Justin Bieber from the internet. The aptly named Shaving Bieber application has been developed by New Yorker Greg Leuch and allows its users to censor all reference to Justin Bieber from websites - including photographs. 
Damon Albarn says he's hoping tempt Lou Reed to guest with Gorillaz at Glastonbury next month. The cartoon collective were drafted in to headline at Worthy Farm Wednesday following U2's cancellation due to Bono's back injury and are planning to up the ante from their recent Roundhouse shows. 
Dizzee Rascal believes he could have pulled off replacing U2 as the Friday night headliner at Glastonbury. The East London rapper was originally the bookies' favourite to fill in for the cancelled U2, however on Wednesday Gorillaz were unveiled as the new headline act. 
Metallica frontman James Hetfield has unveiled a new tattoo which celebrates his new straight edge lifestyle. The 46-year-old former alcoholic has the initial 'X' inked on his right wrist which he claims signifies being clean. 
A topless picture of Paramore singer Hayley Williams appeared on her official Twitter page yesterday leaving her 600,000 plus followers wide-eyed to say the least. The explicit photo of Williams lying on a bed and looking demurely into a camera was uploaded to her Twitpic leading some to speculate it was a merely a mistake on Williams' part. 
Lady Gaga broke cried onstage at the Nottingham Trent FM Arena last night in an emotional start to her latest UK tour. The 24-year-old pop megastar dedicated her song 'Brown Eyes' to her ill grandfather but was forced to pause half way through to wipe away the tears.
