A-Ha will play their debut album 'Hunting High and Low' in full at a gig in London this autumn to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The show, at the Royal Albert Hall on October 8, will mark the first time the Norwegian trio have played the album sequentially. 
Keith Richards has said The Rolling Stones are waiting for singer Mick Jagger to give the go-ahead before recording new material. The guitarist said he had ideas for new songs but had yet to approach his bandmate with them. 
A recording of a press conference where John Lennon was asked about comments he had made about Jesus is set to go under the hammer. The 14-minute reel-to-reel audio tape is thought to be the only surviving recording from the 1966 press conference in Toronto. 
Two Door Cinema Club have announced details of a second gig at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. The date, on September 23, is in addition to the band’s already sold-out show on September 22. 
M.I.A has hit out Justin Bieber, describing the teen pop sensation’s music videos as an “assault to my eye and senses”. The singer’s comments come after her video for new single ‘Born Free’ was deemed too controversial. 
Adam Ant stunned the crowd at a charity gig in Portsmouth last night by telling Christian's to “f*ck off.” The church hall show in front of a crowd of 300 was organised to raise money for impoverished children in the Philippines, however, Ant - real name Stuart Goddard – quickly turned the air blue. 
Green Day covered The Rolling Stones song ‘Rip This Joint’ during an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The band added an extra punk edge to the track, which featured on the Stones’ 1972 album, ‘Exile On Main Street’. 
Jarvis Cocker has recorded a new album with The National Trust. The LP, entitled ‘National Trust: The Album’, features a selection of countryside samples recorded in the grounds of the charity’s properties. 
Songs by Vampire Weekend and Metric will appear on the soundtrack to the new film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The 15-song score will also feature tracks by The Bravery and a collaboration between Beck and Bat For Lashes.
