Roxy Music are to make a rare TV appearance on the last edition of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

The band, fronted by Bryan Ferry, will perform a track chosen by Ross on the show on July 16.

Other guests on the programme include David Beckham and Hollywood actor Jackie Chan.

Ross is leaving the BBC after 13 years after he chose not to renew his contract in the wake of the 2008 Sachsgate scandal.

The broadcaster was suspended for three months after he and Russell Brand left lewd answer phone messages on actor Andrew Sachs' telephone.

Meanwhile, Roxy Music are amongst the headliners at the Lovebox festival in London, which is set to take place from July 16-18.
