Kylie Minogue 'Unlikely' To Headline Glastonbury FestivalJune 18, 2010
Kylie Minogue is unlikely to be given the chance of headlining the Glastonbury festival again, organisers have said.
The Australian singer was set to top the bill in 2005 but was forced to pull out after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Minogue, who has since recovered from the illness, was replace on the bill by Basement Jaxx. However, according to the Sun, organiser Michael Eavis has been quoted as saying that she is unlikely to headline the event in the future. "She was going to do it years ago but then she was ill,” he said. "We've all moved on. We've moved on to different things now." This year's Glastonbury festival takes place from June 25-27 and will be headlined by Gorillaz, Muse and Stevie Wonder.
