Rihanna: 'I'd Love To Perform At Glastonbury 2010'

December 10, 2009
Rihanna: 'I'd Love To Perform At Glastonbury 2010'Rihanna says that she would love to perform at Glastonbury Festival next summer.

The megastar singer, who announced her May 2010 UK tour yesterday, expressed her interest in Michael Eavis' festival at a press conference at the Westfields Centre in London yesterday.

Asked by a reporter whether she'd like to follow her mentor Jay-Z's footsteps and perform at Worthy Farm, she said: "I would love to be there.

"Even if I’m not headlining I’d love to be there. It's a great festival and a great platform for me to be on."

Asked about her plans for next year after the UK tour, the 21-year-old added: "We will probably be back (in the UK) in the summer. We're going to be back in the UK. We always re-visit certain territories."

Friday night headliners U2 are the only confirmed act for next year's Glastonbury.
