Ellie Goulding Wins BRITs 2010 Critics' Choice AwardDecember 9, 2009
![]() The 22-year-old singer from Hereford will now perform at the BRIT Awards launch at the IndigO2 on January 18 before picking up the award at the main ceremony at Earls Court, London on February 16. Goulding said: “When I found out, I had a little squeal, I had a little cry, and I had a little fall down! I didn't believe it at first, but now that it’s sunk in I am delighted and utterly honoured to have been given this award. I couldn't be more happy and thankful to everyone right now.” She follows in the footsteps of Adele and Florence & The Machine who scooped the gong in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Delphic and Marina & The Diamonds have been unveiled as the two runners up for the 2010 award. Ellie Goulding recently announced an UK tour with tickets on sale right now. She plays:
