Chris Brown Announces Tour, Ticket Sales To Be Donated To Domestic-Violence CharityOctober 21, 2009
Chris Brown has announced details of an extensive US tour, which gets under way in Houston on November 14.
The 17-date dates will mark Brown's first full tour since he pleaded guilty to assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna. The jaunt, entitled the Fan Appreciation tour, also includes dates in Washington, New Jersey and New York. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be split between two charities - Best Buddies International and Jenesse Center, a domestic-violence intervention organisation. The singer was given five years' probation and ordered to do community labour for attacking Rihanna in Los Angeles in February. Brown's tour announcement yesterday coincided with the launch of Rihanna's new single and album, 'Rated R', which is released on November 23.
