Lady GaGa Backs Kanye West Over Taylor Swift VMAs OutburstSeptember 30, 2009
Lady GaGa says Kanye West still feels “fucking bad” for interrupting Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month.
The rapper has come under attack from his peers over the outburst, despite issuing a series of apologising. In an interview with MTV, Lady GaGa, who was in the audience at Radio City Music Hall, admitted she was shocked by the rapper's reaction. But she added: “I would say he's a good guy and everybody makes mistakes, and he feels so fucking bad. He really does. “I think that everyone can get so caught up in gossip and stuff." The singer, who is due to join West on a co-headlining tour in November, also praised the rapper's influence on modern music. “If you listen to the radio right now, with the exception of myself, really, and Taylor Swift, Kanye is responsible for everything we're listening to," she said. "He's changed music and he's really prolific and an incredible person." Lady GaGa and West's Fame Kills tour is due to kick off in Phoenix on November 10 before calling at venues across the US.
