Nickelback have announced details of a 2009 UK arena tour, which will begin in Manchester on May 22nd.

The five date tour also includes shows in Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham and London.

The tour will support the band's new album, 'Dark Horse', which was released last month.

Nickelback's tour dates are:

• Manchester, MEN Arena – May 22
• Glasgow, SECC – 23
• Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena – 25
• Birmingham, National Indoor Arena 26
• London, O2 Arena – 28
