The Killers Beat Guns N' Ross To Number OneDecember 1, 2008
![]() The Las Vegas band's third album comfortably outsold Guns N' Roses 'Chinese Democracy', which was released last Monday after a fourteen year wait. The album, which is reported to have cost frontman Axl Rose $2million, was a new entry at number two. Elsewhere, former X Factor star Rhydian was another new entry at number three while Kanye West's '808s and Heartbreak' charted at number eleven. In the singles chart, Take That stormed to the top spot with 'Greatest Day', the first track from their new album 'Circus'.
