Villagers Announce October UK Tour Following Mercury Prize Nomination

Villagers have announced details of a UK tour, which is due to get under way in Brighton on October 4.

The band, whose debut album 'Becoming A Jackal' has been nominated for the Mercury Prize, will play a total of five dates.

The tour is due to conclude at The Plug in Sheffield on October 9.

Meanwhile, Villagers are set to release their new single 'Ship Of Promises' on August 2.

Tickets are on sale now.

• Lancaster, Library – 9
