Tom Jones Teams Up With Kings Of Leon Producer On New AlbumMusic legend Tom Jones has announced details of his new studio album 'Praise & Blame'.

The Welsh crooner teamed up with acclaimed indie producer Ethan Johns (Laura Marling, Kings of Leon, Paulo Nutini, Rufus Wainwright) for the record which consists of stripped down interpretations of American gospel, blues, traditional and country songs.

Amongst those covered by Jones Susan Werner, Bob Dylan, John Lee Hooker, The Staple Singers, Mahalia Jackson and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

As well as producing, Ethan Johns plays on the record alongside drummer Jeremy Stacey and bassist Dave Bronze.

The album is released through Island Records on July 26 and is preceded by a limited edition 7" split single of John Lee Hooker's 'Burning Hell' and Bob Dylan's 'What Good Am I' on June 7th – Tom's birthday.
