Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau, she'll put a spell on you-ou
Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau, she'll put a spell on you
Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau
She's the witch queen (ahhhh) of New Orlea-eans
Of New Orlea-eans
I'm gonna tell you a story, strange as it now see-eems
Of zombie, voodoo, gris gris, and the Witch Queen of New Orleans
She lived in a world of magic, possessed by the devils skew-ew
From a shack near the swamplands, made of mud-pile brick
Marie stirred her witches brew-ew
Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau, she'll put a spell on you-ou
Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau, she'll put a spell on you
Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau
She's the Witch Queen (ahhhh) of New Orlea-eans

Of New Orlea-eans
Dime or a nickel anyone could buy-uy, voodoo of any ki-ind
She had potions and lotions, herbs and tanna leaves
Guaranteed to blow your mi-ind
Early one mornin' into mucky swamp dew
Vanished Marie with hate in her eye-eyes
Though she'll never return, all the Cajuns knew-ew
A Witch Queen never die-ie-ies
Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau, she'll put a spell on you-ou
Marie, Marie, da voodoo veau, she'll put a spell on you

In a town near Albuquerque
Lived a most concerned young boy
He said lately I have noticed
Folks don't live with peace and joy
With frowns and worry on their faces
They're lost and don't know where to go
He said I'll get the people straightened
By putting on a puppet show
The young New Mexican puppeteer
He saw the people all lived in fear
He thought that maybe they'd listen to
A puppet telling them what to do
You know he got some string and he got some wood
He did some carving and he was good
And folks came running so they could hear
The young New Mexican puppeteer
First he carved out young Abe Lincoln
Abe will teach 'em civil rights
Then a King named Martin Luther
So they'd recall his peaceful fight
Old Mark Twain, his wit and wisdom
Will surely show them life is fun
But he smiled with satisfaction
When the Prince of Peace was done
The young New Mexican puppeteer
He saw the people all lived in fear
He thought that maybe they'd listen to
A puppet telling them what to do
You know he got some string and he got some wood
He did some carving and he was good
And folks came running so they could hear
The young New Mexican puppeteer
Now his puppet shows were clever
And he made the people laugh
When he got across the message
To walk along life's open path
They built him his own puppet theatre
Decked out with spotlights yellow and red
And then they wrote him up in all the papers
And this is what the story said
It said...
The young New Mexican puppeteer
He saw the people all lived in fear
He thought that maybe they would listen to
A puppet telling them what to do
You know he got some string and he got some wood
He did some carving and he was good
And folks came running so they could hear
The young New Mexican puppeteer
(repeat)

Sometimes when I'm sad and all alone
Just like a child without a home
The love you give me keeps me hanging on
Oh, darling, all I ever need is you
You're my first love....You're my last
You're my future....You're my past
Loving you is all I ask, oh, honey
All I ever need is you
Winters come and winters go
And we watch the melting snow
Sure as summer follows spring
All the things you do
Gives me a reason to build my
world around you
Some men follow rainbows, I am told
Some men search for silver, some for gold
But I found my treasure in your soul
Oh, baby, all I ever need is you
You know that without love
I'd never find a way
Through the ups and downs
of everyday
And I won't sleep at night
until I hear you say
Oh, baby, all I ever need is you
Ooh......
But I found my treasure in your soul
All I ever need is you
You know that without love
I'd never find a way
Through the ups and downs
of everyday
And I won't sleep a wink
until I hear you say
Oh, baby, all I ever need is you
Oh, darling, all I ever need is you
Oh, honey, all I ever need is you
Uh, yeh, you know what I mean
Uh, hmmmm, hmm, hmm, hmm
Just a little bit...just a little bit
Just a little bit...just a little bit
'Cause all I ever need is you.........
