The Temper Trap
The Temper Trap is an alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia noted for its atmospheric sound, featuring grand guitars set to pulsating rhythms. The band is signed to Infectious Records worldwide, except for Australia and the United States. In Australia, the group is signed to Michael Gudinski's label Liberation Music, and in the United States it is signed to Glassnote Records. The band released their debut album "Conditions" in 2009 to favourable reviews and commercial success. Members of the Temper Trap met at Wesley College, Melbourne.

The Temper Trap are the latest act to be confirmed for this summer's Wireless Festival. The Melbourne band will appear on the bill alongside The Ting Tings, Gossip and headliner Pink on the opening night of the three-day London event. Read more

The Temper Trap have added a third London date to their 2010 UK and Ireland tour. The Australian band will now play Shepherd’s Bush Empire on April 30 in addition to their previously announced dates on April 28 and 29. Read more

The Temper Trap have announced details of a new UK tour, which will get under way next April. The 13-date jaunt is scheduled to kick off in Bournemouth on April 27 before calling at venues in London, Norwich and Newcastle. Read more
