Justin Timberlake: My Music Career Is Not Over

November 23, 2010
Justin Timberlake: My Music Career Is Not OverJustin Timberlake has again denied reports that he has quit music.

The singer's musical future has been in doubt in recent months following his decision to pursue a film career.

But during an appearance on US chat show The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Timberlake said he was “not done” with music, and that he found it difficult to do both at the same time.

“I find that I get that question a lot,” he said. “Like I said 'I'm never doing music again.' I hope not.

“When you're doing a film like I'm doing right now, you immerse yourself in it. You really try to embody the character.

“You find what's relative about you and you give it its own breath and life and voice. And it's such a transformation mentally, that trying to write music at the same time - it would suck.”

He added: “I hope I'm not done. I sing every day. In the car. In the shower.”

Earlier this month, rapper Drake revealed that he had discussed recording a song with the former N*Sync star.
