Information
The Kooks are an English indie rock band formed in Brighton, East Sussex, in 2004. Formed by Luke Pritchard (vocals/guitar), Hugh Harris (lead guitar), Paul Garred (drums), and Max Rafferty (bass guitar), the lineup of the band remained constant until 2008 and the departure of Rafferty. Dan Logan was drafted in as a temporary replacement, until Peter Denton joined the band on a permanent basis in October 2008. Early in 2010 Luke Pritchard announced the departure of drummer Paul Garred on BBC Radio 1. Paul Garred believed to have left through an old injury got worse. White Lies, Interpol, The Kooks For Coke Live Music Festival 2011April 11, 2011 White Lies, Interpol and The Kooks are among the acts that have been announced for this year's Coke Live Music festival in Poland. You Me At Six will also perform at the event, which takes place at the Aviation Museum Ground in Krakow, Poland on August 19-20.
