The Dead Weather
The Dead Weather is an American alternative rock supergroup, formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2009. Composed of Alison Mosshart (of The Kills and Discount), Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) and Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes), The Dead Weather debuted at the opening of Third Man Records' Nashville headquarters on March 11, 2009. The band performed live for the first time at the event, immediately before releasing their debut single "Hang You from the Heavens."

The Dead Weather's next single 'Blue Blood Blues' will be released on a pioneering triple decker record, it's been announced. The triple decker release, which has been trademarked by drummer Jack White, will see a unique 7” version of the single embedded inside a 12” version. Read more

The Dead Weather have been added to the line-up for this summer’s Glastonbury festival. The band, fronted by Jack White, will play on the Pyramid Stage on the second day of the event. Read more

The Dead Weather have revealed that their second album will be called 'Sea Of Cowards'. The group, which features Jack White and The Kills' Alison Mosshart, said the record would be released “soon”. Read more

The Dead Weather played a triumphant sell out show at London's Brixton Academy last night (Thursday October 28). The band, consisting of Jack White, The Kills Alison Mosshart and members of Queens of The Stone Age and The Raconteurs, played an hour long set featuring material from their debut album 'Horehound' as well as new unrecorded material.
