A new music festival in London called The Big Feastival will take place this summer, it's been announced. The event, at Clapham Common from July 1-3, will raise funds for The Prince's Trust and The Jamie Oliver Foundation.   Read more 

The Charlatans have announced the release of a new EP and UK tour, which will take place in March. Tim Burgess and guitarist Mark Collins will play a total of ten shows across the UK to coincide with their new EP 'Winter Warmers'.  Read more 

The Charlatans’ Jon Brookes is set to make his full return when the band perform at the Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh tonight (December 31). The drummer has not performed a full gig with the group since he suffered a brain tumour in September.  Read more

The Charlatans drummers Jon Brookes rejoined that band on stage at the weekend for the first time since suffering a brain tumour. Brookes, who was taken ill at a gig in Philadelphia last month, played the final song of the night at the Academy in Birmingham on Saturday (October 23).  Read more
