Pulp Set To Play Isle Of Wight Festival 2011November 16, 2010
Pulp are set to headline the second night of next year’s Isle of Wight festival, it’s been announced.
The recently reformed group will appear on the main stage on the Saturday of the event, which runs from June 10-12. The group will perform in their original line-up of Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior and Mark Webber. "When I heard they were reforming, I had to get them, they are the soundtrack of a generation,” festival organiser John Giddings said. Pulp are also set to appear at the Wireless festival in London in July. Meanwhile, Kings Of Leon will headline the opening night of next year’s Isle Of Wight Festival. Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday (November 19) at 9am. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Pulp To Announce Own Gigs Alongside Festival Slots? (05.04.2011)
