Scott Weiland Continues Stone Temple Pilots Reunion Tour In HollywoodAugust 21, 2008
Stone Temple Pilots, complete with frontman Scott Weiland, continued their reunion tour last night with a raucous show in Hollywood.
The band's performance at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was packed with hits, including the classic 'Vaseline'. As previously reported, Stone Temple Pilots are expected to release new material following their reunion tour. Earlier this year, bassist Robert DeLeo told Billboard that after the tour they would “be in a position where we've gotten to know each other again, and I think it's gonna be time to hit the studio." Stone Temple Pilots confirmed their reunion in April following frontman Scott Weiland’s acrimonious split from Velvet Revolver, with whom he sang vocals. The band are still hunting for his replacement, and have ruled out using a reality television show format to recruit a singer.
