Dananananaykroyd Announce Three Secret Shows

May 20, 2010
Dananananaykroyd Announce Three Secret ShowsDananananaykroyd are set to make their live return next week, playing three low-key shows under the name The Sissy Hits.

The band, who have been hard at work writing their second album, will play dates in Manchester, Cardiff and London as a warm up to this Summers festival season.

Singer Calum Gunn said of the shows, "We wanted to play our new songs to people and get a great feel for them before recording them in a studio atmosphere."

"We had the benefit of a couple of years feeling our way through the songs on the first album, so we thought playing a few shows under a different name would be a great way to play a set of new ones, rather than a 'proper' Dananananaykroyd set."

'The Sissy Hits' will play:

  • London, The Lexington - May 28
  • Cardiff, Clwb Ifor Bach - 29
  • Manchester, The Corner - 30
