The National Extend Winter UK Tour With New London Date

The National have extended their forthcoming UK tour with an additional date in London.

The band will now play Brixton Academy on December 1, as well as the previously announced date on November 30.

The National's new album 'High Violet' went in at number five on the UK album chart on Sunday.

Tickets for the new London show are on sale now.

The National’s UK tour dates are:

• Bristol, Academy - November 24
• Coventry, Warwick Arts Centre - 25
• Glasgow, Academy - 26
• Manchester, Academy - 27
• London, Brixton Academy - November 30 / December 1
