X Factor's Alexandra Burke: 'I'm Like Beyonce Onstage'

X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has compared her onstage persona to US R&B star Beyonce.

Burke said she took on a similar alter ego to Beyonce’s Sasha Fierce persona when performing.

“Beyonce gets on stage and she’s Sasha Fierce, then she’s different off stage,” Burke told the Sun newspaper.

“It’s just like me. I get on stage and I’m a different person to what I am off stage.”

Burke performed with Beyonce during the final of the talent contest earlier this month.

As previously reported, the singer is currently spending her second week at number one with a cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’.

The song, released straight after Burke’s win, is already the biggest-selling single of 2008.
