Radiohead Shoot Video In Support Of Campaign Against Human TraffickingApril 30, 2008
Radiohead have recorded a special video in support of a campaign against human trafficking.
The video, which is set to ‘All I Need’ from their latest album ‘In Rainbows’, has been directed by Oscar-winning cinematographer, John Seale and Steve Rogers. The video has been filmed in association with MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking). Speaking about the campaign, frontman Thom Yorke said it was “cool” that MTV was getting involved with the issue. “The video is a powerful piece and I hope that the emotion of the song will jump out at people in the context of these images of exploitation,” he said. "I'm proud that the song and the video will help to raise awareness of this issue around the world." The video for ‘All I Need’ will premiere on MTV networks this Friday. In addition to their video, Radiohead will be joined on their upcoming tour by youth activists from local anti-human trafficking organisations.
