Radiohead's Thom Yorke Helps Form Human Sculpture In BrightonNovember 29, 2010
Radiohead’s Thom Yorke has helped create a giant ‘human sculpture’ of an 11th Century Viking King Canute.
Yorke teamed up with the 350 Earth campaign group in Brighton on Saturday (November 27). Enlisted volunteers stood in formation to create the ‘human sculpture’, designed by Radiohead sleeve designer Stanley Donwood. The project was designed to send a clear message about Global Warming to the politicians attending UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Mexico today (November 29). Meanwhile, Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ was covered on the X Factor last night by contestant Wagner, who is now tipped for number one.
