The Kooks, Suggs of Madness and Orbital have recorded a silent song in an attempt to prevent the X Factor from dominating this year's Christmas chart. The track, a new version of John Cage's '4,33', also features Pendulum, Guillemots frontman Fyfe Dangerfield and Unkle's James Lavelle.  Read more 

Madness have been forced to postpone their gig in Sheffield tonight (December 1) due to the weather. The band had been due to perform at the Academy, but local authorities advised that it was “impossible” for the show to go ahead. The UK is currently suffering from heavy snow.  Read more
