Lady Gaga Sparks Tea Company 'Bidding War'

Lady Gaga is at a centre of a bidding war as rival tea companies attempt to sign her as an ambassador, it's been reported.

The singer, who is often pictured holding a tea cup, is understood to have attracted the attention of several brands.

But it is the English tea maker Twinings that has emerged as a front-runner to secure her name.

"They want to launch a new tea with her face on it and discussions are taking place at the top level,” a source told The Sun.

Tasters are apparently working to create a new tea with an oriental flavour in a bid to attract a younger audience.

"Names like The Taste Of GaGa are being batted about,” the insider added.

Lady Gaga is currently on the latest US leg of her Monster Ball tour.
