Gorillaz Announce September 2010 UK Arena Tour

Gorillaz will undertake their first ever UK arena tour this September.

The cartoon collective will take in shows in Birmingham, Newcastle and Manchester before culminating with a two-night stint at London's O2 Arena.

Just like their two shows at The Roundhouse last month, the tour will be performed by Damon Albarn, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and the Gorillaz band and will feature songs from all three of their studio albums.

The guest performers are yet to be confirmed but The Roundhouse gigs featured De La Soul, Shaun Ryder, Gruff Rhys, Bobby Womack, Little Dragon, Mos Def, Kano, Bashy and the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.

Tickets for the UK arena tour go on sale from 9am next Friday (May 21st).
