Doves Have 'No Plans' To Record Another AlbumSeptember 8, 2010
Doves have revealed that they have “no plans” at the moment to record another album.
The group are due to play at the Warehouse Project in Manchester on October 16. And in an interview with the Manchester Evening News guitarist Jez Williams said they had nothing scheduled beyond the show. “The Warehouse Project is our last gig for… I don’t know. It could be a long time,” he said. “We’ve have no plans to do another album. All I know is this is our last gig.” Doves last studio album, 'Kingdom Of Rust', was released in 2009. They released a retrospective earlier this year. Steve Mason and Field Music are due to support the Manchester band next month.
