Robert Pattinson: 'I Wanted To Be A Rap Star'

May 14, 2010
Robert Pattinson: 'I Wanted To Be A Rap Star'Robert Pattinson has revealed that he wanted to be a rapper before turning to acting.

The 24-year-old star of The Twilight Saga spoke about his early ambitions during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

“I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14,” he said.

Pattinson, who was joined on the show by his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, added that he had “a lot of recordings” of himself rapping.

The actor, a keen music fan, has previously revealed that he was a fan of Eminem when he was younger.

The third instalment of The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, is release worldwide on June 30.

Details about the soundtrack, which is due out on June 7, were revealed earlier this week.
